VITTQ Privacy Policy
This policy explains what the VITTQ app keeps, where it is kept, and the choices you have. VITTQ is made by Befine Healthcare Private Limited ("we", "us").
1. What is kept on your phone
VITTQ stores the following in its private storage on your phone:
- Your profile: name, date of birth, sex, height and weight, used to estimate stride, distance and calories.
- Readings from your ring: heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen, stress, skin temperature, sleep, steps, distance and calories.
- Your goals, Home layout and settings.
- Cycle Tracking, if you turn it on: period dates and cycle length.
- The route of outdoor runs you start, from your phone's GPS.
- Your ring's Bluetooth address, battery level and firmware version.
- Diagnostic logs: a record of what the app and ring did, with your phone model.
The Coach works entirely on your phone. Your questions and its answers are not sent anywhere.
2. What can leave your phone
Health Connect or Apple Health, only if you turn it on. VITTQ adds your steps, distance, active calories, heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen, sleep and workouts to your phone's health store, so other health apps you allow can use them. VITTQ only writes this data. It does not read any data from Health Connect or Apple Health. You can turn sharing off in VITTQ or in the health store at any time. Cycle Tracking data is never shared.
The use of information received from Health Connect will adhere to the Health Connect Permissions policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Diagnostics reports, only if you send one. Tapping Send diagnostics prepares a file with recent logs and opens your phone's share sheet. You choose where it goes, for example an email to us. Nothing is sent automatically.
3. What we never do
- We do not sell or rent your information.
- We do not use your information for advertising, and the app has no ads.
- We do not use analytics or crash reporting services.
- We do not share your health data with anyone.
4. Permissions
- Nearby devices (Bluetooth): to find, connect to and stay connected to your ring. Bluetooth is not used to find your location.
- Physical activity: to recognise when you are in a vehicle, so steps counted while driving are removed.
- Location, while using the app: only to record the route of an outdoor run you start.
- Notifications: for alerts you choose, such as your ring coming off, drives and cycle reminders, and the quiet notice that your ring is connected.
- Health Connect or Apple Health: to add your ring's data when you turn sharing on.
You can change any permission in your phone's settings. A feature that needs one stops working until it is allowed again.
5. How long it is kept
- Detailed ring readings: 35 days. Daily summaries of steps, sleep and readiness: 120 days.
- Diagnostic logs: up to 60 days.
- Everything VITTQ keeps is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its storage.
6. Deleting your data
All of your data is on your phone, so you are in control of it. To delete it, uninstall VITTQ, or open your phone's Settings, then Apps, VITTQ, Storage, and clear its storage. Data you shared to Health Connect or Apple Health is deleted there. If you sent us a diagnostics report and want it deleted, write to befine365@gmail.com and we will delete it within 30 days.
7. Children
VITTQ is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Not a medical device
VITTQ is a general wellness and fitness product. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition. Heart rate, HRV, blood oxygen, stress, skin temperature and sleep readings are estimates from a ring, shown so you can follow your own trends. They are not for medical use. Talk to a doctor about any health concern.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
